Obituary
Barbara "Bonnie" Seymour Strong died October 16, 2024, at her home in Tulsa, OK. She was born to Edward White Seymour and Katherine Sanford Seymour on March 16, 1943.
Upon graduation from college, she began her career as a physical therapist, caring for many paraplegics in New York City hospitals. Eventually she became a homemaker and together with her husband John participated in community service. She loved gardening and reading, and especially loved her pets.
She was preceded in death by her husband John D Strong III, her son Nils "Chip" Anderson, and her parents.
She is survived by her sister Katherine Brody of Waverly, GA; stepsons John D Strong IV (Joanne) and grandchildren Johnny and Jenna Strong, and Christopher Strong and grandson Blake; niece Katherine Josie (Jason) and daughter Kate; nephew Jason McQuiddy (Tabitha) and sons Tristan and Carter; and daughter-in-law Leslie Anderson of Oklahoma City.
Bonnie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
