Bernard Michael Buckley, born July 24, 1928, he went home to be with our savior and his loving wife of 63 years on their anniversary May 22, 2016. In Tulsa OK After a prolong illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, William J and Rose A Buckley, and his wife Virginia Buckley and is survived by his Children Susan and his son-in-law Terry Tennyson and Dennis and daughter-in-law Tena Buckley he also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild. Bernard graduated business college where he went on to be a corporate accountant. He set up all household accounts the same way he did at work.

He loved camping and fishing and traveling on family vacation. Bernard and Virginia traveled to many different countries including Paris, France where they spent their 25th wedding anniversary. He loved cooking and changed many recipes to make them heart healthy. He also spent time making Kleenex box holders and matching coasters, and doing puzzle books while watching TV.

Bernard was a very active member of Eastwood Baptist Church. He taped Sunday services and worked In the library.

He always thought of others first and was always willing to help friends and family where every
he could. Bernard will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Services will held at Eastwood Baptist Church located at 949 S. 91st E Ave Tulsa, OK on June 2, 2016 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
