Obituary
Bernice Ashmore, 73, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Thursday, December 15, 1977, at her residence. She was born on Friday, October 16, 1903, in Gravely, AR, to Walter C. Caviness and Ethel (Nicholson) Caviness. Bernice was a member of the Estern Star. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Robert H. "Mary" Davis; granddaughter, Mrs. James "Pamela" Ritchey, both of Tulsa, OK; 2 brothers, Pat Caviness of Little Rock, AR, and Troy Caviness of Loving, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Guy Ashmore; and a lifetime of friends. Bernice will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have her in our lives.
