Obituary
Bernice M. Vaverka, 95, of Tulsa, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016. She was born October 10, 1920 in Daisy, Ark to Joe and Emaline Meeks. She moved to Tulsa to work at Spartan Aircraft during World War II. She married Theodore Vaverka in 1946 and together they raised three children. She was an active member of St. Pius X and worked as a payroll clerk for the Telex Corp. for 23 years.
Bernice is survived by her son, Michael Vaverka of Tulsa and daughter, Elizabeth Ann Valverka of Evanston, IL. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Ted and son, Phillip Vaverka.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, 918-622-1155.
