Bert Junior Vanderpool, 87, of Owasso passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019. He was born August 25, 1932, in Tailholt, OK, to Eli Valentine Vanderpool and Nancy Elizabeth (Gregory) Vanderpool. Bert was a retired mechanic for McDonnell Douglas and was a member of Owasso Church of Christ, the Model A Club, The Thunderbird Club and R.O.M.E.O. (Retired Old Men Eating Out). He enjoyed restoring Model A's and old Fords. Bert is survived by his daughters, Nancy McClelland and her husband, Mike of Tulsa, Carol Rutherford and her husband, Danny of Owasso; three grandchildren, Sean McClelland, Brian McClelland and his wife, Ryann, Christina Rutherford; three great-grandchildren, Sydnie McClelland, Jocelyn McClelland, and Brody McClelland. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vera Ruth Vanderpool; his infant daughter, Pamela Vanderpool; his grandson, Guy Rutherford; his three sisters; and three brothers.
