Betsy Willman-Anderson was bom Betsy Joanne Goff on December 22nd 1922 in Bloomington, Indiana, to Opal M. and James L. Goff and passed into heaven on Monday February 12th, 2024. She grew up in Tulsa and graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1939. She attended the University of Tulsa where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority.
The last 25 years of her long career were spent as an executive secretary with Warren Petroleum and she retired from Warren/Gulf/Chevron in 1983 after which she organized the Warren-Gulf Annuitants, now known as Chevron Annuitants Association. She was a former member of the Gillies Association of Gilcrease Museum, and the Mistletoe Questers as well as a member of the Agape Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church Tulsa.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John E. Willman, who was killed in an accident shortly after the birth of their only child, John, and her second husband Samuel H. Anderson. She is survived by her son, John G. Willman and his wife Sharon of Glencoe OK. Also by two grandsons Jeremy Willman and his wife Kim of Perkins, and Jonathan Willman and his wife Daree of Edmond. Great grandchildren Madison, Avery and Claire and Molly, Max, Maggie and Mary, as well as Leslie Comfort, Sam's daughter, who became a great friend.
