BARTLETT, Betty Sue (Aldridge), passed away December 15, 2015, at her home in Tulsa, OK. Born and raised in Mannsville, OK, she moved to Ardmore as a young woman. It was there she met Victor, her recently deceased husband of 62 years. In keeping with her generation, she dedicated her time to caring for her husband and soon to be three children. Her natural talent for decorating allowed Betty to pursue part-time careers in floral arrangement and real estate sales.
Life with her oilman husband required moves to New Mexico, Texas, California, and back to Oklahoma. Betty's reward was always a bigger, nicer home to decorate. Victor's retirement allowed them to continue their passion for international travel adventures.
The arrival of three grandchildren gave Betty and Victor a new mission and renewed vitality. Her later years in the Montereau community were filled with new friends and experiences.
Betty was preceded in death by her daughter, Darla; and her husband, Victor. She is survived by brother, Charles Aldridge; sister, Judy Davis; sons, Blane and Ron; grandchildren, Jason Holland, Kevin Bartlett, and Kelli Weatherholt.
A memorial service will be conducted at Montereau at 11:15 A.M., Friday, December 18, 2015 followed the next day by a service at McLish Avenue Church of Christ, Ardmore, OK at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233 share memories at
