Betty Filipps passed away Tuesday February 9th, 2016. She was born in Washington, Pa. on August 14th, 1929 to Don & Lena Cardone. Betty married Eugene T. Filipps of Slovan, Pa. on May 26th, 1952 and they remained happily married for 56 years.

She was preceded in death by her brother John Cardone & sister Peggy Langenburg both of Pennsylvania as well as her beloved husband Eugene. Betty is survived by her children & respective spouses; Valerie & Pat Holt, Donald & Treva Filipps, Melinda & Mike Singleton, along with her 5 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.

Betty was an excellent baker & gardener. She enjoyed her family immensely & spending quality vacations with them in Fort Myers Beach, Fla. Her extended family will miss her smile & loving affection to all around her.

The family wants to extend special Thanks to Chrissy & The Staff of Brookdale/Tulsa as well as Shannon & the Staff at Physicians Choice Hospice for all the care provided Betty in her later months of life.

Funeral arrangements have been made at Moore Funeral Homes 9350 East 51st Street in Tulsa for Friday February 12th at 10am. Viewing & prayers for Betty will be held at Moore on Thursday
Feb. 11th between 9am. and 9pm.
