Betty Jo Jones, 87, of Tulsa, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016. She was born October 21, 1929 in Hunter, OK to Elvyn and Letha Claunch. She was a homemaker and a member of Community Of Christ Church. She enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandma. She met her husband Donald while dancing and enjoyed traveling with him to native american sites. She also enjoyed dancing and singing in choir. Betty Jo is survived by her children, Larry Jones and his wife Debbie of Pomona, KS; Debbie Carpenter and her husband Lance of Broken Arrow, OK; her granddaughter, Sarah Hull of Freeport, NY; her sisters, Beverly McArthur and her husband Mac of Collinsville, OK; Barbara Kelley and her husband Jack of Skiatook, OK and Carol Jones and her husband Jim of Owasso, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Donald E. Jones and her brother, Jimmy Lee Caunch.
