Obituary
Betty Jo Smith, 88, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born to Marvin and Minnie Lee (Kilborn) Johnson on September 4, 1928 in Wetumka, Oklahoma.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Arthur Wayne Smith; brothers: Bill Johnson and Leander Johnson.
She is survived by her sons: David Smith and his wife Susan, Russell Smith and Alton Smith and his wife Candy; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; sister: Lena McKee.
Betty was an amazing friend and mentor to all she knew. Some of her many loved hobbies were crocheting, quilt making, sewing wedding dresses and clothes. She was also a very strong woman, you could also find her doing carpentry and cement work when needed. Words cannot express how deeply missed Betty will be by her family and friends.
Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2017 at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK.
