Betty Jane Maxey passed away January 2, 2019 at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She was born in OKC, OK February 10, 1935 to Percy and Jeanette Brown.

Jane is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joe Maxey; sons Buck and Carter Maxey and their wives Anna Maxey and Mary Maxey; grandchildren, Grant Maxey and Clinton Maxey II; niece Barbara Brown-Faulconer and her husband Jim Faulconer. Her parents and son, Clinton Maxey, preceded her in death.

Jane attended the University of Oklahoma, studied finance and was a proud member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and married Joe in 1956 in Shawnee, OK. Jane was a long time real estate Broker and owned Jane Maxey Realtors until retirement in 2008. She was a consummate professional and balanced her career and family with style and grace. After retirement she enjoyed making her jewelry and spending time with family and friends.
