PHILLIPS, Betty M., 95, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 in Tulsa, OK. Born August 6, 1923 in a white frame house in Skiatook, OK to Harry A. and Jesse M. (Sanders) Chapman. She was a 1941 graduate of Skiatook High School. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for her husband's Appraisal firm.
She was a member of First Baptist Church-Tulsa. She was a past member of the Assistance League and Hyechka Chorus. She also enjoyed crafting and decorating, traveling all over Europe and North America, and spending time with her family.
She married Bill Phillips on July 4, 1943. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; siblings, Bill, Raymond, Ben, Helen and Bonita. She is survived by her daughter and husband, Suzan and Steve Knight of Edmond, OK; son and wife, Chapman and Jennifer Phillips of Tahlequah, OK; four granddaughters, Amy (David) Lide, Chris (Mike) Reed, Cathy Cooper, and Rachel (Dusty) Fore; grandson, Matt (Christina) Knight; ten great-grandchildren, Johne Moddrell, Grace Bronstad, Morgan and Jay Peterson, Grayson Knight, Joshua Cable, Cooper Cable, Nick & Ashley Perkins, Jesse Moore, Brodie Younger, and Billie Ray Fore; one great-great-grandchild, Knox Perkins.
