Betty Ann Shields
Born 12/22/34 in Wewoka, OK. Graduated high school in Great Bend, KS. She was married for 61 years to John Shields. They traveled the world, including their favorite destinations of 2 trips to Australia and stops in London and Ireland. She was an avid bowler and bridge player, teaching the game to many young women for generations to come. Her greatest joy was truly being Mema to her 6 grandkids and she also loved being outside working in her yard and flower beds. She loved playing games and took piano lessons in her later years.
She is survived by her husband, John Shields.
Their daughter, Stacy Gill and husband Paul. Their kids Josh Gill, Zach Gill, and Spenser & Sydney Gill, baby boy Gill due in April.
Their son, Matt Shields and wife Jackie. Their kids Ethan & Emily Shields with Amelia & Maddox, Matthew & Emily Jantz, and Madeline Shields.
She is also survived by 1 sister, Lorene Schartz and husband Gilbert, of Great Bend, KS.
