Betty R. Spencer, 83, of Tulsa, OK passed away June 14, 2013 in Dewey, OK. Betty was born August 29, 1929 in Barnsdall, OK to Roy and Nora (Lay) Wilcox. After graduating from Barnsdall High she married Milburn C. Spencer and worked as a secretary for many years mostly with McKesson Chemical Co. She was a member of Woodlake Assembly of God in Tulsa for many years until she was unable to attend for health reasons. She and Milburn enjoyed traveling.
Betty is survived by her husband of 65 years, Milburn of the home, son, Robert L. Spencer of Tulsa, OK, sister, Carol Gray and husband Daniel of Bartlesville, OK, brother Jack Wilcox and wife Freeda of Bartlesville, OK, numerous nephews, nieces and many friends.
Betty was preceded in death by, parents and a sister, Joann Bally.
Bequests: Alzheimers Research.
Funeral Service 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 18, Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel in Barnsdall, OK and burial followed in the Ethel Reese Cemetery in Barnsdall, OK.
