Betty L. Stephenson, 84, of Tulsa, died on Saturday, July 6, 2019 after a brief illness. She was born in Tulsa on April 3, 1935 to Rev. E. C. Lee and Eula Lee. She married Loren F. Stephenson and he preceded her in death on April 18, 2017.
Mrs. Stephenson worked at the Tulsa Teacher's Credit Union for many years and retired from there as a loan officer. She received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Tulsa and was a member of the Red Fork Church of God.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Paul Ray Stephenson; two brothers, Harold and Byrum Lee; and a sister, Irene Lee. She is survived by a son, Loren F. (Sandra) Stephenson; a daughter in law, Samara Stephenson; a brother, Curtis Lee; five grandchildren, Angela Wheeler, Chad, Jacob and James Stephenson, Sarah McBride; ten great grandchildren, Cassie Watson, Shyann, Trae and Ellianna Wheeler, Jillian and El Schrock, Alex and Patrick Stephenson, Alyssa and Rachel Givens.
Visitation will be on Sunday, 2-5pm at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st St., Tulsa with funeral services on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 10am at Red Fork Church of God, 3319 W. 41st St., Tulsa. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.
