COWLEY, Betty Pauline, 86, died Saturday, February 27, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. A native Tulsan, Betty was born July 31, 1934 to Doyt and Laurella Duncan and graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1952. In 1955 she married a "Yankee gone Okie", Prescott Cowley "Prett" who was from Maine and had moved to Tulsa to play football for the University of Tulsa. They made Tulsa their home and raised three children, Rick, Robyn, and Scott. Betty worked as an Administrative Assistant for several companies in Tulsa and retired from the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Betty's hobbies were her children and grandchildren, who lovingly called her "MiMi". Betty enjoyed road trips, concerts, riding in a golf cart with her husband before his passing in 2006, and any event involving her family.

She is survived by her 2 sons Rick of Tulsa, Scott and wife Hilary of Shawnee, KS; daughter Robyn Cowley of Broken Arrow; grandchildren Thorn Cowley and fiance Vielka Fajardo of Houston, TX, Chase, Grant, and Preston Cowley of Shawnee, KS. Elizabeth and husband Mitchell Scott of Owasso, OK. Caroline and husband Ryan Shoemaker of McKinney, TX. 5 great-grandchildren Thomas, Benjamin, and Wesley Scott, Lorelai and a soon-to-be baby girl Shoemaker; a brother Richard Duncan of Colorado Springs, CO. and numerous nieces and nephews.

To know Betty was to love Betty. Her selfless spirit and generous heart will be deeply missed.

Viewing 10 am - 8 pm Thursday, March 4, 2021 Moore's Southlawn. Private interment Memorial Park Cemetery Friday, March 5, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled later.
