Beverly Kay Allen Strong passed away at 90 years of age on February 9th, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Beverly was born June 1st, 1934, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Ida and Frank Allen II. Beverly later married the love of her life, Daniel McSpadden Strong, whom she met while they both attended Oklahoma State University.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Frank Allen III, and by her husband of 61 years. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Kathryn and husband, Floyd Hendrix; son, Lt. Col. David Strong and wife, Kristen; her son, Andy and his wife, Lisa; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Dianne Allen Malherbe and her husband, Earl.
Beverly followed in her mother's footsteps to become a proud legacy Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority member at Oklahoma State, where she studied Preschool Education. Her favorite positions held were that of wife, mom, and homemaker, but she also held other jobs throughout her life, including that of kindergarten teacher.
As a true servant hearted woman, Beverly spent her entire life caring for others. She was a good friend to many and wholeheartedly beloved by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her family now takes incredible comfort in the fact that she is now with her Savior and with her husband "among the stars."
In Lieu of flowers, please donate to the hospice home that cared for Beverly in her final days, Clarehouse.
