Beverly Vanderford, 78, Tulsa resident, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020, at her home. She was born September 27, 1941, to Virginia (Jimerson) and Ernest Slade in Houston, TX. Beverly was an active member of Sandusky Avenue Christian Church. She wrote the Sunday School newspaper and served at the church coffee shop. She was a Camp Fire leader for her daughter and helped teach Jet Cadets. George and Beverly were married July 28, 1969, in Tulsa, OK. Beverly is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Barbara Wilkinson. She is survived by her beloved husband, George Vanderford of the home; her daughter, Cindy Savage, husband, Gene of Collinsville, OK and her brother, Kenneth Slade of Tulsa, OK.
