Bill J. Schneider left his worldly existence to be with Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 26, 2015. Bill was born on May 11, 1933 to Leo and Mildred Schneider in Henderson, Texas. A child of the Great Depression, his family moved frequently in Eastern Texas and Southern Oklahoma. They eventually settled in Tulsa, where he spent his childhood.

Bill graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Architecture in 1956. He met wife Anne in Stillwater, and they married in October of 1956. Bill went to work at the architectural firm of Buck and Associates in Bartlesville. In 1963, he started the firm of Schneider and Coleman in Tulsa. His firm designed many schools and commercial and church buildings in Tulsa, Broken Arrow and Northeastern Oklahoma.

Bill and his wife were active in their Sunday school class at First United Methodist Church, the Wesley class. Bill is fondly remembered as someone who worked hard and adored his sons and grandchildren. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Anne, and is survived by three sons and several grandchildren: Kelly Schneider and his wife Ann, son Alex and daughter Meredith; Stan Schneider, son Kale and daughter Kelsey Dorr; Brant Schneider, daughter Kaylie and son Barrett.

A viewing has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa. A celebration of his life will be held at First United Methodist Church in Tulsa at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 2. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to your favorite local charity.
