Billy D. Williams was born in Brooken, Oklahoma on August 9th, 1930 to George and Wilma Williams. Bill departed this life on November 8th, 2018. Bill was raised by Wilma and his loving step-dad, Lee Benson, where he attended school in Stigler, Oklahoma. In high school Bill met Barbara Clarkson and they fell in love and were married for 62 years. Bill and Barbara had two sons, Steven and Don.
Bill attended Northeastern State University and graduated with a degree in education and later worked for Tulsa Public Schools for over 30 years. Bill was principal at Wilson Middle School for nearly 20 years. Bill was both a devoted husband and father. Seven and wife Judy have three sons, Kyle, Connor, and Cole, who were the love and joy of his life. Bill was an avid OU fan and also loved being outdoors landscaping or watching his grandkids compete in athletics.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother and father, Wilma and Lee Benson, his wife Barbara, and son Don. Bill is survived by Steven and wife Judy, of Tulsa, and three grandsons, Kyle, Connor, and Cole, all of Tulsa.
