Billie Lou Bentley Coulter, Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend,
received her higher calling and passed from this life March 12, 2018, surrounded by love, at the age of 86. She was born in Springdale, Arkansas to Melba and Bill Bentley on March 7, 1932.
A beautiful woman, she married the love of her life, Bobby Joe Coulter on December 24, 1950.
They were devoted to each other for their 55 years of marriage.
She attended Oklahoma A&M University where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She was actively involved with the Methodist Church, serving on the building committee responsible for building the original Asbury Church and most currently called St James United Methodist church her church home.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, BJ Coulter. She is survived by her four children: Karen (Greg) Coulter-Hoff (Kimberlee, Kaysley), Rob (Michele) Coulter (Solomon, Jenifer, Cristian, Ana), Kristen (Mike) Eckert (TJ, Rachel), and Rod (Jill) Coulter (Caitlin, Caroline, Christine, Bentley, Chloe, Beau), brother: Steve (Kate) Smith. She was Grandma to 14 grandchildren and GG to 2 great grandchildren.
The sparkle in her eye and her attention to detail will surely be missed.
Services will be held at St James United Methodist Church at 10am Thursday March 15, 2018.
