Billie Eng captured the hearts of all who had the opportunity to know her. She was born in Kilgore, TX on July 14, 1931. She fell in love with and married Eugene Eng in 1946. Billie's legacy lives on through her children Eileen Ong, Shirley Bomhoff, Linda Webster, Eugene Eng Jr, and Janet Rock and is preceded in death by Elaine Chow. She was grandmother, Nanny, to Robbie, Stacy, Garrett, Lindsey, Grant, Jamie, Jenny, Jonathan, Lisa, Tamara, Lydia, David, and Michelle and great-grandmother to Misty, Crystal, Chad, Sylvia, Jo-Jo, Theodore, Jonathan, Jack-Jac, Tommy, Davy, Haven, Harper, and Ezekiel.
The multitude of her legacy provided her the opportunity to consistently pamper her grandchildren in addition to relishing the frequent traveling adventures with all of the family. Billie enjoyed spending time with her friends at the bingo hall as well on a regular basis.
At first glance, Billie was not what you expected and at her core embodied a colorful and altruistic personality. She was an unassuming homemaker, but unselfishly and unabashedly gave her whole heart to her husband, children, and extended family. In the most truncated summary, Billie loved and enjoyed life to its fullest and provided everyone with a sense of comfort - a sense of true acceptance and home.
