Billie Oveyln (Davidson) Suchsland was born August 24, 1930, the only child of Weymon and Etta Davidson in Verda, LA. After graduating from high school in Shreveport, LA, Billie attended Judson College in Alabama. She and Robert G Suchsland were married in Shreveport on March 23, 1955. She had been a resident of Tulsa since 1965. She enjoyed raising their two sons and being involved in their many activities. As they grew older she started a career in real estate, working with Greene & Andress, and eventually became a broker with Merrill Lynch. She was an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church for over 50 years. After retirement, she and Bob enjoyed traveling extensively in Europe and Africa, having wonderful adventures with friends and meeting new people.
After Bob's death in 2000, Billie continued traveling, visiting her kids and grandkids in Colorado and Illinois. She lived life to the fullest, and enjoyed every step of the journey!
Billie also volunteered with the Assistance League of Tulsa and was especially fond of helping with the School Bell Program. Billie had been a resident at Covenant Place in Bixby, OK for the past two years, where she was known as a greeter, ambassador, fashionista, and energizer bunny! She loved her family, she loved her friends and she loved life.
Billie died December 22, 2017 at home. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by her son Rob, his wife Julie, their son Wes, his wife Cammie, and their daughter Alyssa Windmuller and her husband Jens. She is also survived by her son Michael and his wife Joyce, and their sons Daniel and Drew.
