Bob McCray passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 in Tulsa Oklahoma surrounded by his family and friends. Bob was born December 15, 1929 in Sand Springs Oklahoma to Homer and Thelma McCray. He married Wyvonda McCray on September 12, 1951. Together they had two children and built their lives together celebrating 55 years of marriage, until his beloved wife preceded him in death on February 28, 2007. Bob was also preceded in death by his parents and his son Stan McCray. He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Baker and his grandchildren, Matthew, Kara, and Joshua Baker; brothers, Floyd McCray and Jim McCray. Bob was a graduate of Barnsdall High School Class of 1947 and was a retired Marketing Representative from Phillips Petroleum Company. He was also was a member of the Green Country Woodworkers Association and Woodlake Assembly of God. Bob was a selfless man,who loved his family and friends whole heartedly. His grandchildren had his heart. They were the loves of his life. He enjoyed woodworking and making unique gifts for his friends and family, winning many blue ribbons for his work. He received Green Country Woodworker of the year in 2007. He enjoyed live music and listening to country, bluegrass and gospel. And if you've ever been to Lyin' Jack's Donut shop you would have most likely seen Bob! As he was a daily customer there for many years who loved his morning coffee, roll, and chats with his friends. Bob was a sweet man, he was a good man who was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be Saturday August 2, 2014 at Moore's Southlawn 9350 East 51st from noon to close and on Sunday from open to close with family visitation from 3-5pm. Services will be held at Woodlake Assembly of God in Tulsa and will be followed immediately by graveside to Ethel Reece Cemetery in Barnsdall Oklahoma.
