Bob L. Robertson, 95, of Tulsa, OK, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, December 27, 2024. He was born on Wednesday, December 11, 1929, in Sapulpa, OK, to Paul Revere Robertson and Wylda Raye (Hensley) Robertson.
Bob Robertson was a devout Christian and member of Eastwood Baptist Church where he was baptised by his friend and pastor, Gordon Small. He immersed himself in the Bible and was starting to read it for the seventh time.
Bob was a man of many talents, he could weld, fabricate and repair about anything, at one point he was co-owner of Elynnwood Supply Co., an oil field supply company. He was a sportsman that loved hunting and fishing but most of all he loved supporting his children, grand children and great-grandchildren in their sporting events; especially baseball. He enjoyed watching all types of sports but he truly was a New York Yankees Fan.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Mary Lou (Heaven) Robertson; brothers, Jack Robertson, Dick Robertson and Tommy Robertson; and grandson Daniel Allen Hill.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Lana Carr and husband, Fred, of Broken Arrow, OK, son, Mickey Robertson and wife, Lisa, of Tulsa, OK; three grandchildren, Wes Hill and wife, Shawna, Ashley Long and husband, Shane, and Grant Robertson; four great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Robertson; sisters, Rita Schluneger, and Paula Menasco; and a lifetime of friends.
