Bob Brewer was born February 12, 1941 in Ozark, AR, and passed from this life February 9, 2020. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Luther & Annie, son Kenneth, two brothers Earl and Tom and two sisters Virginia and Paula. He is survived by his wife Beverly, of 41 years, three children, Douglas, Karen, Lou Ellen, stepson Mark and nine grandchildren. All his life he had a passion for work from an early age, selling newspapers on the corner in Russellville, AR, and helping his dad sell fruit door- to-door. He was the real deal Workaholic. His family moved to Tulsa in 1951. He worked after school caddying at Oaks Country Club, and graduated from Webster High School, in 1959. He then started working in construction, building houses, and moved to Kentucky, where he was a member of Christ Gospel Church. He also built a Bible college, there. When he moved back to Tulsa, he contracted to build two stage coaches for a movie set and dude ranch. He also contracted and built the first pedestrian bridge. Later, he opened Bevco Manufacturing, where he built and patented a sewer machine. Plumbers told him it was the best they ever had. Later, he owned and operated Union Auto Sales, for 10 years. Yes, Bob was a jack-of-all-trades and mastered them all. He would quote Philippians 4:13, and he could do all things, and do them well. He was one of the good guys -- honest, straight forward, tell it like it is. And, he Loved Jesus. Yes, he was a true "Westsider."
