Bobby Joe Hankins, 81, of Tulsa, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016. He was born January 26, 1935 in Glendale, AR to Dankie Harrison and Eva Mae Hankins. He was a railroad engineer for Burlington Northern Santa Fe for 38 years until his retirement in 1997. He was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, the United Transportation Union, Local 894 and he enjoyed fishing, golfing and sports. Bobby Joe is survived by his wife of 56 years, DiAnna Hankins; his children, Pamela Jo and her husband Jerry Brock of Sand Springs, OK; John Phillip Hankins of Sand Springs, OK; Robin Hankins of Edmond, OK; his grandchildren, Joshua Brock, Sarah Brock, Megan Hankins, Madeline Hankins; his great grandchild, Levi Berry and his sister Nell and her husband Lynn Roberts. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and 11 siblings.
