On October 21, 1946, Bobby Lee was born to Laura and Gordon Knight in Fresno, California. Bobby was a toddler when the family moved to Laura's home in Missouri and later to Oklahoma City. He graduated from high school in Oklahoma City and worked in the city until he joined the military. Bobby served four years as Military Police in the Air Force during the Vietnam war. These were tough years, but Bobby was so thankful he served his country.

Bobby worked various jobs in management and sales, and as a private investigator managing a repossession agency. During this time, he received his BS degree from the University of Central Oklahoma.

In 1982 he met the love of his life, Ann. When he and Ann married in 1983, Bobby inherited seven- yes, seven stepchildren, Erik, Robert, Mary Ann, Edward, Charles, Philip and four- year-old Roy. Several years later Bobby and Ann were blessed to adopt Titus and Abigayle. The Knights were active in church as the children grew to adulthood.

Bobby enjoyed the children and helped with them. He wanted to be a good stepfather. Bobby also liked to fish, loved old western movies, working in the yard and was quite a craftsman, and a beautiful deck builder. Everyone will remember Bobby's keen sense of humor. Bobby loved going to church and studying the Bible. He always told Ann and others that the most significant decision he made in his life was accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

For over ten years, Bobby suffered from Parkinson's Disease but he never waivered in his faith and love for the Lord. The illness progressed and on November 2, 2024, at 0900 Bobby Lee Knight took his last breath and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus, his Lord and Savior.

Bobby leaves behind his wife, Ann, of 41 years, nine children and their families, nineteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Memorial Services for Mr. Bobby Lee Knight will be 3:00PM Saturday, November 16, 2024 in the Moore Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145.
