Obituary

Bobby Joyce Pritchett, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, was called Home on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in Tulsa, OK, at age 89. Joyce was a woman with a devoted faith in Christ and dedication to her family and friends.

Joyce was born in Commerce, TX, and after high school, she earned her Bachelor degree in Medical Technology at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX. Joyce's professional career began at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas where she worked as a Medical Technologist and Lab Assistant until meeting her husband, Dale, at First United Methodist Church in North Richland Hills, TX.

Joyce and Dale were married in 1960 and shared a full life, welcomed two sons to the family, and were married for 47 years. During their time together, they loved to travel, spend time with friends, were active in their Church, served at Meals on Wheels, were avid bridge players and enjoyed square dancing.

In later years, Joyce continued to be very active in her Church community at Asbury Church. She belonged to Happy Christian discipleship community, was active in Women's Bible Studies, prayer groups, and also sang in the choir.

Joyce was a proud mother and is survived by her two sons: Mark Pritchett, and his wife, Sandra; and Michael Pritchett.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Wilma Stout; her beloved husband, Oscar Dale Pritchett; and her brother, Howard Wayne Stout.

Memorial Service, 2PM, Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Asbury Church - Mason Chapel.
