It is with great sorrow we announce that Bonnie Jo Funk of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on Monday December 3, 2018 at Hillcrest Heart Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Bonnie was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on January 9, 1948. Bonnie graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs. Bonnie and the love of her life Kenneth Funk were married in 1966. She cared for and raised three children, was grandmother to seven, a sister to one brother and was a caring daughter to her parents whom she deeply loved and a friend to many.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Don and Virginia Kohl.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years Kenneth Funk, daughter Kristi Green, her husband Mike and their children Garrett, Tyler and Jordan; daughter Jacki Funk and her children Matthew Funk and Brandon Reavis; her son Kenny Funk and his wife Marlene and their children, Anna and Theo; her brother Don Kohl, his wife Cheryl and many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was mother to her children and to their friends. Her house was a place of welcome and even a home for so many young people over the years. Bonnie was a crafter who made wonderful items for her home and the homes of so many. She would often go out of her way to make sure those she loved were well taken care of.
