Bonnie Sue Prince is among the angels now.

After a battle with cancer, Sue passed away at the age of 76 on Jan. 26, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla. She was surrounded by friends and family, who, while devastated by the loss, take comfort in the fact that her suffering is over.

Sue was a devoted wife, loving mother of three sons and dedicated grandmother.

She loved to paint, camp, fish and play Bunco. She was in a Bunco group with dear friends for 40-plus years. She was a sweet, caring, generous and loving soul who always put her family first.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William Gerald Prince; her three sons, William Edward, Michael Duke and Patrick Brandon; her sister Shelba Avants; her daughters-in-law LeAnn and Tracy; and grandchildren, William Mason, Logan Connor and Jensen Elizabeth.

Sue was born in Zion, Arkansas, on Feb. 16, 1942 to Cleo and Tressie Fudge, both deceased. She spent most of her childhood in Batesville, Ark., graduating from Batesville High School in 1959.

She met the love of her life in the summer of 1957. They were married three years later on Aug. 21, 1960.

"I never regretted a day of it," Gerald said.

Gerald and Sue lived in several cities before settling in Tulsa in 1974.

In Tulsa, Sue worked at Dillard's and Lindquist Reporting Service, retiring in 1997.
