Obituary

Brandon Michael Rine was born at Fort Sill, Oklahoma on March 28th, 1988. He passed away in Tulsa, October 14th, 2021.

While he was very young Brandon and his family lived at Ft. Sill, and then Augusta, Georgia, Sembach, Germany, and Redstone Arsenal, Alabama before settling in Tulsa, where his parents Albert and Sharlotte had grown up. Brandon attended Bell and Lanier elementary schools, Wilson and Foster middle schools, and Edison high school.

Brandon loved God, his family, his friends, his dog, Rebel, and music. Over the years he played trumpet, drums, guitar, and keyboard. His favorite was definitely the drums. He would tap on anything that was handy. He also liked to cook, but there was always a kitchen percussion piece going on while the food was being prepared. (Often accompanied by beautiful whistling!)
Brandon struggled with addiction from his teen years on, which made his life much harder than it could have been. Even so, he often talked with his mother about how he loved and trusted Jesus. His two favorite Bible verses were Romans 8:28, and Jeremiah 29:11.

Brandon made deep friendships, he enjoyed fishing and hanging out at the lake, spending time with Rebel, and helping his friends any way he could. When he was sober he was a kind, generous young man.
