Dr. Brenda Chockley, an orthodontist in Tulsa, died unexpectedly on January 14, 2016
at the age of 52.

Brenda was born in Guymon, OK on September 6, 1963 to Jim and Nell Chockley. She
graduated from Beaver High School, Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma University dental
school, and University of Missouri at Kansas City orthodontic program. On March 6, 1993,
Brenda married the love of her life, Dr. Jonathan Cooper. Brenda and Jon established their
orthodontic practice in Tulsa in 1994. Brenda and Jon were blessed to have two sons, Alec and
Joel, who were her pride and joy. Brenda will be missed dearly by her family, friends and
patients. She made the world better and is now encircled in God's arms.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Dr. Jonathan Cooper, and her children, Alec and Joel
Cooper, of Tulsa; brother Charles Chockley of Beaver, OK; and sister Karen Trippet of Fort
Collins, CO.

A memorial service celebrating Brenda's life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January
20, 2016 at Asbury United Methodist Church with reception following.
