Brenda Faye Pinkerton, age 62, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Randall Craig Pinkerton, and her parents, Albert and Edna Ruth Trimble.
She is survived by her son, Craig Pinkerton and his wife, Christina, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her daughter, Cara Brown and her husband, Sam, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her mother-in-law, Marilyn Pinkerton of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her brother-in-law, Gary Pinkerton and his wife, Barbara, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and her eight cherished grandchildren: Bryant Taylor, Amelya Taylor, Denver Pinkerton, Jack Pinkerton, David Pinkerton, Joshua Pinkerton, Brynlea Brown, and Mia Brown.
Brenda was born on July 17, 1963, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At the age of five, she was lovingly adopted by Albert Clyde and Edna Ruth Trimble of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of thirteen and remained steadfast in her faith throughout her life. Brenda was raised in Midtown Tulsa and attended Nathan Hale High School, where she met the love of her life, Randall Craig Pinkerton.
Brenda and Randall were united in marriage on June 12, 1982, at Memorial Baptist Church. Together, they shared 28 wonderful years of marriage and built a loving home centered on faith and family. They welcomed their son, Craig Allen, in 1983 and their daughter, Cara Faye, in 1988.
Brenda devoted many years to her family as a homemaker, ensuring that her children were always cared for, encouraged, and deeply loved. In the late 1990s, she began serving at Skelly Drive Baptist Church as a children's pastor, faithfully investing in the lives of countless children and families. Her compassion, kindness, and unwavering faith left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Following her retirement, Brenda dedicated herself to what brought her the greatest joy: spending time with her family, especially her eight beloved grandchildren. She loved cooking, creating crafts and handmade treasures, and attending her grandchildren's sporting events, school programs, and activities. Family was the center of her world, and she treasured every opportunity to create lasting memories with those she loved most.
For the past five years, Brenda courageously battled breast cancer with remarkable strength, grace, and faith. Through every challenge she faced, she continued to trust in the Lord and remained an example of perseverance and hope to her family and friends. Her determination and steadfast spirit inspired all who walked alongside her journey.
While Brenda's absence leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of her family and friends, they find comfort in knowing that she is now healed and made whole in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her testimony of faith, love, and devotion will continue to live on in the lives of those she touched, and her family rejoices in the promise that they will see her again one day.
