Obituary

Brent Emery Doggett
July 29, 1966-January 4, 2023

Brent was born in the Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City on July 29, 1966. He attended Jenks Schools in Tulsa, OK and graduated from Estes Park High School in Colorado.
Most who knew Brent as an adult would attest to his love for life and family. His winning personality was no secret, either, to those around him and to those with him he interacted personally or on one of his radio broadcasts.
From early on, Brent clearly had multiple talents, displayed both in his athletic prowess and as a musician. Though he was a great baseball player, Brent favored participating in his very favorite contact sport, soccer. He had the misfortune to seriously injure both knees at an early age, requiring separate surgeries to repair the damage.
Thankfully, Brent's passion for music had taken hold, and "rock and roll" consumed his world. He played in many bands, typically as the lead guitarist. He loved being a radio personality at KVOO and Big Country Radio in Tulsa. His deep speaking voice and easy banter made him a favorite of many.
Brent cherished his family and often reminisced about the great times he had on holidays, especially with his mother Patsy's relatives, the Yagers.
He was predeceased by his mother Patsy, but is survived by many in her Yager family. Brent is survived by his wife Cinnamon (a wonderful caregiver during Brent's illnesses); daughter Kylie and her children: his father Charlie: brother Eric and his wife Brenda and their son Brandon Charles: and his uncle Bob Doggett. Other special friends include Nelson Beckett.
Later in life Brent struggled with some health issues but never lost his wonderful attitude and fervor for life. Brent, AKA "Ace," was a kind-hearted, fun-loving rocker who will be missed more than words can say, but will remain forever in our hearts.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 13th at Moore's Memory Chapel 1403 S. Peoria Ave., Tulsa, OK 74120. 918-583-6148
