William Brett Bland was born on July 20, 1958 at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, OK. He went to heaven on May 27, 2016 at 8:41 P.M. in Tulsa, OK losing his fight with cancer. Brett was preceded in death by his parents, William Lee Bland and Coleen May Bland. Brett is survived by his wife, Brenda Bland; children, Blake Bland, Jason Bland, Stephen Ward, Janis Ward and Ben Gulley; his grandchildren, Chloe Ward, Millie Ward, Tucker Miller and Skylar Maher; his brother Mike Bland and his wife Becky Bland of Tulsa; his sister Katy Barringer of Greenville, South Carolina and her husband Bill Barringer; his sister Kelly Long of Montgomery, Alabama and her husband Art Long; his father and mother-in-law, Bill and Janice Shackelford; brother-in-law Terry Shackelford, sister-in-law Theresa Shelton and her husband Chuck Shelton, sister-in-law Cheryl Ward and her husband Clint. Nephews and nieces; Chad Bland, Brent Barringer, Kristin Fisher, Jacob Long, Katelyn Long, Melinda Rice, John Rice, Kyle Ward and Erica Ward.

Brett lived with his wife Brenda in Tulsa for many years and they attended Fellowship Bible Church for 17 years. He was a Real Estate Investor and a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty. Brett was a strong Christian and his passion for life was giving of himself to others. He will be missed. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, 2016, 4:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel. Services will be held at Fellowship Bible Church, 5434 E 91st St, Tulsa at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 1, 2016.
