Bryan Wesley Smith went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 23, 2015.

Bryan was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 13th, 1948. He graduated from Thomas Edison High School in 1966 and later graduated from the University of Tulsa. Bryan was a lifelong Tulsan. He worked at the family business, Wood Oil Company, until its sale in 2002. Bryan then formed Provencial Oil Company.

Bryan was known for his quick wit and generosity. He was considered by all to be a true gentleman. He was a lover of art and travel. He treasured and loved his family and friends. Bryan was a constant and generous gift giver. He found great joy in serving others without calling attention to himself. He was a humble, gentle, wise soul who shined a bright light at all times and was always ready for a good laugh and great fun. Bryan had the highest character and a great faith in God through his son Jesus which grew even stronger after his last trip to Israel.

Bryan is survived by his best friend and wife of 28 years, Ann Nicholson Smith, along with the other love of his life, daughter Margo Monnet Smith. He is also survived by his sister, Mona Virginia Smith of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and JoAnne Smith, also of Tulsa.

A celebration of Bryan's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29th, 2015 at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church, 1301 South Boston Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74119. Officiating the service will be Dr, Alex Himaya, The Church at Midtown and Dr. William Tankersley III, Boston Avenue United Methodist Church.
