Byrl H. Ward's Obituary
Ward, Byrl Henry, 90, of Bartlesville, OK passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015, among family at Saint Francis Hospital South in Tulsa, OK.
He was born May 18, 1925 to Alfred and Orpha Ward. The family moved to Jenks, OK in 1936. Ward attended Jenks High School where he graduated in1943. He enlisted in the Army where he served his country during World War II and was honorably discharged in March 1946. Ward moved to Bartlesville, OK in 1949 at which time he partnered with his brother, Cecil Ward to form Ward Industrial Electric.
He married, Jane Coleman, May 4,1952. She preceded him in death on May 11, 1984. On May 21, 1995 he married, Dorothy Copenhaver. She preceded him in death on January 26, 1996. In 2011 he moved to Broken Arrow to be closer to family.
Ward is survived by his siblings Sarah Slankard, Frances Yager and Everett Ward and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Moore's Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday, December 21,2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Moore's Southlawn Chapel. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233 share memories at www.moorefuneral.com
