Calvin DeShawn was known to his family and friends as a loving, passionate, devoted father of seven children. He had a way of influencing others that he loved simply by sharing his big smile and contagious laugh that will be missed by many.

Calvin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Claudia and Calvin B. Washington; 3 aunts, Veronica Tankersly, Janice Love and Beverly Bojang; 2 cousins, Paul Cathey and Willie Tankersly.

Calvin DeShawn Washington was born to parents, Moses Richardson of Detroit, Michigan and Donna Walker of Tulsa, Oklahoma, the oldest of three children.

Calvin met his high school sweetheart, Nicole J. Washington, in Detroit, Michigan, and later married her in 1996. To their union were 4 daughters: India N. Washington, Jasmyn L. Washington, Ashleigh N. Washington, Asha A. Sims; 3 sons: Devon K. Mosley, Anthony L. Washington and Antonio G. Washington. Calvin moved his family back to Tulsa, OK in 2012 where he resided and worked for the City of Tulsa.

Calvin dedicated his life to Christ early in life and spent his time reading and teaching his family the Word of God. Calvin fought a long and courageous battle before going home, surrounded by his loving wife; children; granddaughter, Jordyn N. Washington; mother, Donna Walker; sister, Metra Washington and his baby brother, Ronald Walker.

DeShawn will be truly missed by a host of family, friends and co-workers.
