Calvin Dale Cozort, beloved husband and father, passed away at his home on Monday, November 18, at the age of 86. Calvin was born on October 16, 1933, in Shamrock, Oklahoma to Major Otho and Grace Lora (Heasley) Cozort.

Calvin is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Betty Cozort, his three children, Russell Cozort, Jan Blanchard, and Tonya Hicks, his daughter in law Jan Cozort, his three brothers M.O. Cozort, Ron Cozort, and Donnie Cozort, his sister Lora Moody, his brother in law, Ron Fairchild, his grandchildren Matt Cozort, Shane Cozort, Zane Blanchard, Maris Blanchard, Bryce Hicks, Megan Hicks, and Braden Hicks, his great grandchildren Nikole Cozort, Kameron Cozort, Piper Cozort, Cruz Larson, and Tennyson Cozort.

Calvin was well respected by others as an honest, gentle person. He was known as a hardworking, trustworthy man that was always willing to help others. He will be sincerely missed.

Service will be held Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 11:00 at The Park Church of Christ. Visitation will be at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00. The Cozort family requests donations in lieu of flowers be made to Hope Harbor in Claremore.
