Carl Ray Garrett was born on October 12, 1950 in Tulsa. He married his wife Patty in 1969 and was a barber for 33 years. Carl passed from this life in his home in Broken Arrow on Saturday, July 26, 2014. Carl loved John Wayne and Steve McQueen movies and playing Texas Hold 'em. He will be remembered for his sense of humor. He loved jokes and pranks played on his family, friends and customers.
He was preceded in death by wife, Patty; both parents; and brother, Robert Taylor. He is survived by his daughter, Sherri Garrett of Broken Arrow; son, C.J. and his wife Tammy of Lake Ft. Gibson; grandson, Wesley Garrett of Lake Ft. Gibson; grandson, Brandon Garrett of Owasso; brother, James Taylor of Stillwater; and cousin, Karen Sue Young of Tulsa.
