Obituary
Carl Joseph Nash, 100, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in Lafayette, Indiana. He was born on July 29, 1916 to Joseph and Kathryn (Haley) Nash in St. Louis, Missouri.
Carl was preceded in death by his first wife, Arla Beatrice Nash; his parents, Joseph and Kathryn Nash; his second wife, Evelyn Weaver Nash; and his sons David Nash and James Nash.
He is survived by his daughter Kathleen L. King of Lafayette, Indiana; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Carl had a B.S. in accounting from the University of Tulsa, was a long-time member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and Tulsa Country Club and was a manager at Nelson Electrical Manufacturing Company. He loved to travel worldwide, achieved a hole-in-one at the age of 75 and golfed until 95. He was a man of good humor, a positive attitude and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers a contribution may be made to the charity of your choice.
