Carol Evelyn Wagner was born on February 15th, 1938 and she passed from this life to join her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 3rd, 2014 at the age of 76. She was born to Edward and Clara Wester of Dawson Minnesota. She was and always will be a Minnesotan at heart. She grew up in western Minnesota in the small town of Dawson until she graduated from high school. She moved to the Twin Cities where she took up a career as an accountant for a major advertising firm. It was in Minneapolis where she met her husband of 40 years, Edward C. Wagner. The happy couple lived in Minnesota until their retirement in 1996 when they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to spend the winter, while continuing to spend their summers in Minnesota where she would get to spend time with her sister, friends and her beloved nieces and nephews. She was an avid birdwatcher who loved nature and loved to walk and enjoy beautiful gardens and flowers. She and Ed enjoyed travel and they had the privilege of traveling the globe together. She was a wonderfully warm intelligent person, great conversationalist and loving wife, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed by many. She was a devoted member of First Lutheran of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Bethlehem Lutheran in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She is survived by her husband Edward Wagner and his children Kenneth and Beth Wagner, Michael Wagner, and Carol's four grandchildren: Mike Wagner II, Nathan Wagner, Braden Wagner and Eden Wagner.
