Carolyn Kay Bubb, passed away on December 29th, 2022 in Tulsa, OK. She was born on August 6th, 1948 in Tulsa, OK to the parents of Gene and Zella Smith. Kay worked at the Department of Human Services for over 30 years. She also worked in the hospitality industry doing food and beverage. Charles and Kay met in 1976 at a singles group that was actually hosted by Charles. They were later married in 1977.

Kay was placed on this earth to serve! She was such an advocate for the clients she served at DHS. In her personal life, nothing made her happier than to gather family & friends for fellowship and to FEED THEM! She had such a giving heart & soul! Her love for life, her family, and for others was immeasurable. No one was a stranger to Kay and she would stop at nothing to help others.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gene and Zella Smith and her twin brother Ray Smith. She is survived by her husband, Charles Bubb and their 4 children. Son, Charles Bubb (Denton, TX), Daughter, Catherine Campbell and husband Tony (New York, NY), Daughter, Nicole Maloy and husband Jason (Owasso, OK) and Son, Jonathan Bubb (Tulsa, OK). 8 grandchildren: Jonathan Perkins and wife Sarae, Carol Bubb, Alexis Campbell, Chad Bubb, Kristen Campbell, Fallon Campbell, Shon Maloy and Samantha Maloy; 4 great grandchildren: Kinsley Williams, Winter Perkins, Oliver Riddle,Chloe Maloy.

In lieu of flowers, plants are suggested and will be donated to area senior living centers.

Viewing will be 8AM - 8PM, Monday, January 2, 2023 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral Service will be 10AM, Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel.
