Carolyn Joyce Byford passed away on Thursday, March 30th, 2023, in Jenks Oklahoma. She was surrounded by loved ones as she left this earth to be reunited with loved ones awaiting her. Her family finds great comfort in the knowledge that she is free from pain and now resides in the eternal peace that her faith ensures.

Carolyn was born on June 6th, 1942 in Porter Oklahoma. She is survived by four loving children Marshall Byford and wife Rennee Byford, Joetta Carol McPherson and husband Todd McPherson, Michael Dean Byford and wife Leslie Byford and Jennifer Renee Ray, 12 grandchildren Melissa Sattre, Braden Byford, Edward Code, Ashlee Carter, Michael Byford, Kristen Lack, Caralyn Code, Nick Byford, Joe Byford, Jonathon Harvey, Juliette Harvey and Jacob Byford.

Her love and legacy branch even further through her 19 great-grandchildren and those yet to come. She is also survived by brother Bob Ragsdale and wife Von Ragsdale. Carolyn was preceded in death by husband, Tom Byford, parents Thomas and Oneta Ragsdale, brother Tommy Ragsdale and sister Wanda Johnson.

A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, April 4th from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her graveside funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 5th - 2:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S. Memorial Ave. Tulsa, Oklahoma.
