Carolyn Madge Clower, 84, passed away while surrounded by her loved ones on September 12, 2025. Carolyn was born in Welch, Oklahoma and spent most of her life in Vinita, Oklahoma. She worked for the State of Oklahoma in the education department. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, watching OU football and Razorbacks basketball, playing the piano, holidays, and watching the birds in her backyard. Carolyn was an avid music lover with an amazing talent for playing the piano; she could even play the piano with her toes. Carolyn touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. She was deeply cherished as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, and her laughter and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and devotion to family will continue to inspire the generations that follow, and her memory will forever be held close in the hearts of those who shared in her remarkable journey.
Survivors include her sons; Kenneth Clower and his wife Jodi, of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Perry Clower and his wife Freida of Mcloud, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Brooke McCabe, Bradley Clower, Chris Clower, Orville Nelson, Melissa Cumings, Amy Powell, Brittany Ramirez, James Cumings, Jennifer Parsons, Holly Lewis, and Jared Lewis; 28 great-grandkids and 2 great-great grandkids, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Dorothy Walker, sister Yvonne Walker, Brother Leon Walker, Uncle Berl Walker, and granddaughter Candice Clower.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 27, at Hope Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Vinita, Oklahoma, at 1:00 PM.
