Carolyn Ann Hicks
Services for Carolyn Ann Hicks, age 74, will be held at 10:00 am Monday June 17, 2013 at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home Chapel in Tulsa. Mrs. Hicks died Wednesday June 12, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold Streator and Juanita Estelle Newcomb. Survivors include her husband Donald Hicks, son David Hicks, grandson Taylor Hicks, daughter-in-law Mie Hicks, a brother Herbert Streator and a sister Charlotte Madison.
Mrs. Hicks graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1956 and Oklahoma State University in 1960 with a B.A. Degree in Education. She taught in Public Schools at Tulsa, Jet-Nash, Fairfax and Woodland over a 35 year period.
Visitations at the funeral home will be held from 4 to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Internment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
