Carolyn (Kitty) Hunt was born in Fairfax, OK on February 28, 1932 with Dr. Lipe in attendance. She was the daughter of Clem and Una Hunt. Kitty passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Kitty attended school in Fairfax until 1942 when the family moved to Tulsa. She graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa in 1950. Kitty always considered her favorite school days to be those she spent in Fairfax where she maintained top grades and participated in school activities.

After high school, she worked for several oil companies and became the personal secretary for Ted Bodley of Mohawk Petroleum, and later she held the same position for Harold C. Stuart of KVOO (KJRH) Television, and finally with Mr. George Collins of Liberty Glass Company, Sapulpa, OK.

Kitty was a Christian and loved to talk about the Lord. She was active at Eastwood Baptist Church in Tulsa during the time that Eastwood was being called "Exciting Eastwood" and was the fastest growing Baptist church in the Tulsa area. She was later recognized and honored for having served more than 30 years in the youth department.

Kitty was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Dorothy DeGeer and husband, Myron, Jo, Patricia Ann Hunt; and brother, Tim Hunt. She is survived by sister, Betty Hubbard of Oak Harbor, WA; brothers, Charles of Tomball, TX, John of Mooreland, OK, Bob and wife, Cathy of Sand Springs, OK, Ed and wife, Billie of Tulsa, OK, and Nick and wife, Judy of Tulsa, OK.

Kitty has 11 nephews and nieces, with one, Jimmy and wife, Amy that have been special to her. She also had a close friend of over 40 years, Stephen Williams.

Graveside services are scheduled at the Fairfax Cemetery on Monday, July 18, 2016 with the Reverend George Weston of Fairfax conducting the service. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
