Obituary

Carolyn Belle Lambert passed away April 3, 2015 in Austin TX at the age of 94. Carolyn was born May 12, 1920 to James Arthur Sapp and Eleanor Sapp. She attended Central High School Oklahoma A& M and Oklahoma Baptist University. She married Clinton Lambert in September 1942 in Lubbock TX.

After WWII she and her husband raised their family in Yale OK and owned the Lambert Lumber Company for many years where she was active in the Yale Study Club, Garden Club and Eastern Star. In 1966 life took Carolyn to Houston TX where she worked for Sears as an Interior Decorator and Department Manager for 20 years. Upon retiring Carolyn moved to Drumright OK where she was very active in Drumright Senior Citizens, team bowling, and the Methodist Church. She spent the last ten years of her life under the loving watchful care of her son and daughter in law in Austin TX.

Carolyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was a loving and happy lady, who herself was loved very much by her large family and many friends. Her laugh, love of life and the many, many wonderful times spent with her will very much be missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother James Sapp, sister Shirley Allee, son Robert Lambert and grandson David Lambert. She is survived by her daughter Pat Thomas, son Roger Lambert and his wife Rita, daughter in law Barbra Lambert, grandchildren Dale Gooch, Amy McClure, Jodie Dyer, Luke Gooch, Bryan Lambert, Traci Boudreau, great grandchildren, Lauren Lee, Hailey, Hannah, Allison & Hayden McClure, Rachel, April & Griffin Dyer, Tyler Nicholson, Graham & Kevin Gooch, Elin, Maya & Hugo Lambert, Courtney, Sidney & Alex Boudreau.

Services for Carolyn will be held at 9:30AM-10:20AM, Saturday April 11, 2015 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK with graveside service following at 10:30AM-11:30AM at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa OK.
