Carol Moore passed away on March 16, 2026 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 77. She was born on May 16, 1948 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, to Matthew and Rosalie Janusz.
She was preceded in death by her father, Matthew Janusz and her mother, Rosalie. Carol is survived by her husband, Enos; her son Brian and his wife Amber; her daughter Christine and her husband Ross Martin; her brother Robert Janusz and his wife Linda; and five grandsons: Hayden Moore; Weston Moore; Jackson Martin; Nathan Martin; and Hudson Martin. Her family was the joy and center of her life.
A faithful member of Asbury church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the Faithbuilders Community. Carol lived out her faith through kindness, encouragement, and genuine care for those around her. Her warmth and gentle spirit touched many lives.
Carol graduated with honors from Cumberland High School (Rhode Island) with the class of 1966. She began her career in the accounting department of Standard Nut and Bolt Company (Rhode Island).
She married Enos Moore, Jr. in 1970 while he was serving on active duty in the United States Navy. Their journey together took them to the Great Lakes Navy Training Center near Chicago, Illinois. After Enos's release from active duty, they made their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they built a life and raised their family. Carol devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Both of her children were born in Tulsa, where Carol created a home filled with love, care, and steady support.
She especially enjoyed traveling by car with her family and was known as the gifted navigator on their many road trips. Carol treasured time spent cheering for her grandsons at soccer matches, football games, and band concerts. She had a special love for dogs. Above all else, Carol loved deeply. She found joy in the important moments of the people she cared about and was always present with encouragement, warmth, and quiet strength. Those who knew her will remember her for her devotion to family and friends, her caring heart, and the love she so freely gave throughout her life.
A "Celebration of Life" service will be held at Asbury church in Tulsa, Oklahoma at 1:00PM on March 28th, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to "St. Jude Children's Research Hospital."
